COLUMBIA TEACHERS COLLEGE SUMMER HUMANITIES & ENGINEERING ACADEMY
The Columbia University Teachers College Summer Humanities and Engineering Academy is a 2-week intensive program for high school students interested in exploring essential technological, philosophical and cultural questions pertinent to life in the 21st century. The Engineering component of the program challenges students to identify and solve problems through real-world applications of web and application design, 3D modeling, and electronics. The Humanities component invites students to participate in college-level academic discourse, refining their mastery of academic language as they read, write and discuss a range of texts that frame humanistic and scientific perspectives on environmental problems.
